We process your personal data when:

  • you became our customer or supplier;
  • you contact us via the contact form for your enquiry/request;
  • you send us your application in order to recruit employees;

Personal data shall be processed in accordance with the requirements of laws concerning the employment of worker e.g. the Labour Code. For processing any additional personal data- such as phone number, address , e- mail or image- your consent should be expressed unless the laws indicate otherwise, e.g. Act on Employee Capital Plans.

Your Personal Data shall be processed by the Institute pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 Article 6.1. a, b,c and f and national provisions i.a. The Act of 10 May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data, The Labour Code Art. 22(1) §2.

Personal data is processed for the purposes of the recruitment process on the basis of the Labour Code Art. 22(1) §1 and Art. 6.1. a,b,c and f of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016, and other applicable laws.

If we work with you or are an employee of our client or supplier, we may have access to your information such as:

  • any information about the transactions we have entered into as a result of our cooperation;

Please be advised that we do not automatically collect any information, except for the information contained in cookies.

Google Analytics

CHEMET SA uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

On the CHEMET pages there is an integrated plugin (plug-in) of the social network Facebook and Instagram, whose administrator is Facebook Inc. 1601 South Carolina Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 943404, USA and to LinkedIn, which is administered by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Pl, Saint Peter’s, Dublin, 2, Ireland. Plugins to the portals are located under the tags that symbolize them.

When you visit our site, there is an automatic connection via a plug-in between your Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn server and your web browser. The web portals will then be informed that you have visited our site at your IP address. If you click on the portal’s tag while you are logged in to your portal account, the contents of our website can be linked to your profile. You will find additional information on the pages of each of the portals.

  • we are to perform a contract to which you are a party or to act on your request before entering into such a contract (TYPE 6.1.b);
  • in order to fulfil a legal obligation that is incumbent on us (TIODO Article 6(1)(c));
  • for purposes that arise from legitimate interests pursued by us or another entity related to us, provided that your interests or the fundamental rights and freedoms that require the protection of your personal data do not take precedence over those interests (TCO Article 6(1)(f)).

Where do we process your personal data?

We process your personal data within the territory of the European Union, however, for the purpose of implementing the contract, it may be transferred to contractors from third countries.

Please note that the posts you post to our social networking accounts are public and anyone can access them. Although we will make every effort to protect your personal information, we cannot fully guarantee the security of the information you post to our social networking sites, so any sharing is your responsibility.

For how long do we keep your personal data?

We process your personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose or purposes for which your data were originally collected. After this time, your data will be deleted or archived – except if further processing is necessary for us to fulfil a legal obligation that is incumbent on us or for another legitimate, legitimate purpose.

Candidates’ data will be processed for one year beginning from the time of their application, if the applicant consents.

What rights do you have?

Because we process your personal data, you are entitled to the rights that arise from this:

  • to access your relevant personal data (please see information below);
    • to correct your outdated data that we are processing and that has changed since you gave it to us;
    • if other regulations do not rule this out and we have no reason to process your data, you may request that your personal data be deleted;
    • if we process your data on the basis of your consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time and at any time, this will result in the discontinuation of the processing of your personal data;
    • if you have concerns about the way in which we process your personal data, you can contact us directly (by e-mail or telephone to the Data Protection Officer) or make an official complaint to the President of the Data Protection Authority.

The Supervisory Authority for the Protection of Personal Data in Poland

The Office for Personal Data Protection is the supervisory authority in Poland and CNIL in France. This body may provide you with the necessary information about your rights and our obligations with regard to your personal data, and may also deal with any complaints you may have if you believe that we are processing your personal data incorrectly.
