The official opening of the fully robotized cylinder production line is behind us.
Although the line has been operating for some time, yesterday’s opening is the culmination of a 3-year investment process, thanks to which we are increasing our production capacity to 2.5 million cylinders per year, including approximately 1 million on the new line, opened yesterday.
During the official part, we had the pleasure of hosting representatives of the following institutions: Stéphane Chipponi, Deputy Prefect of Haguenau/Wissembourg, Claude Sturni, Mayor of Haguenau, President of the Haguenau Urban Community, 2nd Vice-President of the Grand Est Region, Jean-Lucien Netzer, Mayor of Bischwilller, Frank Becker, Managing Director of ADIRA, Mathilde Lafaye and Audrey Galland – President of France Gaz Liquide and Liquid Gas Europe.
We would like to thank you very much for coming to our ceremony.
It was an honour to celebrate the inauguration of this modern cylinder production line with you.
Yesterday we had the official opening and today we would like to share some facts about the fully robotized cylinder manufacturing line at CHEMET SAS GLI in Bischwiller.
32 robots installed within the production line
20 FANUC welding robots
12 FANUC manipulation robots
6 automatic welding machines using the highly efficient CMT TWIN tandem method
14 MAG PMC welding machines
12 sec. – dynamics at which each new cylinder leaves the production line
3.35 – minimum volume in liters of manufactured cylinders
52 – maximum volume in liters of manufactured cylinders
It’s a real demon for workin the cylinder industry.
